7 road projects proposed for CP by DOT

Full Description:

Though not adopted yet-the Dept. of Transportation submitted proposals for the fiscal years '03-'04 through '07 & '08. Three projects will affect Cambridge Road-Westbound on & off ramps. The second project involving a signal at Merrychase Dr. and Cambridge. The third Coordinating with plans for the park and ride facility in the same area. At the far end of Cambridge at Green Valley Rd. the DOT proposes adding a signal due to construction on the Southwest corner. This is where the new Mini-Storage facility will be built. There may be several improvements to the Cameron Park Drive vein if the proposals are adopted. Other projects include Cameron Park Drive at Mira Loma-where a left-hand turn lane will be/may be constructed. This project does not include the installation of a signal light-although one may be necessary in the future. One of the most involved project proposals affects Cameron Park Drive and Meder Road. This includes widening the roadway, adding traffic signals, and right hand turn lanes. More information to follow...
